Travelling through Kamloops and Casa Azul was recommend by the fella at the front desk of my hotel. This place did not disappoint! The service was friendly and helpful and the Chimichanga and Margaritas were DELISH! 5 stars for this little family run restaurant!
THIS RESTAURANT AND STAFF ARE ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! They hosted us for an 80th birthday and could not have been more warm and welcoming and truly... the food was AMAZING! Sooo good! Authentic and delicious Mexican food - each of us ordered different dishes and we each raved about how amazing the food was (and portions!!)!! We truly felt like part of the family - so welcomed... and the Decor is just gorgeous bright colorful and feels like a slice of Mexico... happy and gorgeous!! ...thank you Casa Azul for making such a beautiful special and memorable time for my Dad’s 80th!! We can’t wait to come back!!
Great food from here as take out, was very good, Emily was very friendly and helpful! The food wasn't the fastest but overall a very good place! They also have horchata which is a good to beverages for myself whenever I go out for mexican food! I would highly reccomend the tacos here.
Stopped by on our road trip for a late lunch and got a table immediately. The spicy chicken tacos were really amazing and we had to repeat the order to enjoy more. The margaritas were delicious. The staff seemed pretty rushed and confused for some reason and we’re hurrying to clear up the table, didn’t offer water unless asked and forgot to grab glasses. The place wasn’t so busy but the ambience and food were spot on. Highly recommend this place.
Where is the 6 star option when I need it! Extremely delicious tacos!!! Yes three exclamation marks. Service is prompt with great suggestions from the server. I haven't had Mexican food this good since I was in Mexico.
If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is it! My husband and I stopped here on our way through town and if we lived in Kamloops we would definitely be back soon. Owner greeted us and served us. We found out they had just purchased from the former owner who was from El Salvador so food is now 100% Mexican and it shows. Oh and bring your appetite or be prepared to take some food home. Portions are generous. We highly recommend Casa Azul!
It was good! I thought the frozen mango margarita would be a bit more frozen but it was still a good margarita. The pastor taco was yummy but the meat was a little bit dry. The service and decor are really cute though!
